Welcome to Roroesim.com ("RORO" or "We" or "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by Roroesim.com, including our website (www.roroesim.com), mobile applications (available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store), and any products or services provided through our platform. By accessing or using our services, browsing, and registering accounts on our webpages and applications, you fully understand and agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Introduction

Roroesim.com and its mobile applications are operated by DDUP Business Service AB, registered in Sweden with organization number 5568830672. We resell pre-paid mobile internet data plans (including eSIM and physical SIM cards) through our website and mobile apps, allowing users to access mobile data services in multiple countries.

By purchasing from us, you confirm that you have fully understood and accepted our Terms, Privacy Policies, Data Plan Descriptions, and any other relevant information presented on our website and apps.

2. Service Description

2.1 eSIM and Physical SIM Cards

  • eSIMs: An embedded SIM that can be installed on compatible devices. Once installed, it allows you to use mobile data services without the need for a physical SIM card. Each eSIM can only be installed once.
  • Physical SIMs: Traditional SIM cards that can be inserted into your device to access mobile data services through the accepted network.

2.2 Data Plans

  • RORO offers various pre-paid data plans, allowing you to select the plan that best suits your travel needs.
  • Plans may vary in terms of data volume, validity period, and geographical coverage. Detailed information about each plan is available on our website and apps.
  • Please note that our data plans are for data usage only. Voice calls and SMS are not included but can be made using apps like WhatsApp, Skype, etc.

3. Device Compatibility

Before purchasing an eSIM or a physical SIM card, it is your responsibility to ensure that your device is compatible. While we provide a compatibility checklist on our website, newly released eSIM-compatible devices may not yet be listed. RORO is not responsible for issues arising from incompatibility.

4. Activation and Installation

4.1 eSIM Installation

  • After purchase, you will receive an email containing your eSIM and installation instructions. The eSIM can only be installed once and must be activated within 180 days of purchase.
  • You are advised to install the eSIM before your trip but only activate it upon arrival at your destination.
  • Top-up purchases will only include the data plan information in the email because our eSIM and physical SIM cards are reusable during a 1-year sleeping period (no activity period).

4.2 Physical SIM Installation

  • Physical SIM cards will be handled through our partners. Ensure you insert the SIM card into your device upon arrival and activate data roaming in your phone settings.

4.3 Plan Activation

  • The plan's validity begins when the eSIM or physical SIM connects to any supported network within the covered area.

5. Pricing and Payment

RORO offers prices and payments in various currencies, including applicable taxes. Payment methods include Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and major credit/debit cards. A payment receipt will be sent to the email address associated with your purchase.

6. Coverage and Service Limitations

Our services rely on the network coverage provided by our partner operators. While we strive to ensure seamless connectivity, we cannot guarantee service in areas with limited or no coverage. Our connection quality can only be guaranteed within the signal coverage of our cooperating operators' networks.

7. Fair Usage Policy

7.1 Data Usage

  • Data consumption starts once the eSIM or physical SIM is connected to the accepted network and ends when the valid days are finished or the plan's included data amount is exhausted.
  • Limited Plans with a fixed amount of data and a set validity period may have data left after the expiration date. The unused data is not subject to refunds or compensation.
  • For Unlimited Data Plans, which have no data limit but are limited by days, data usage is subject to a Fair Usage Policy with a daily data cap. After consuming 3GB in a day, the speed may be reduced, but it will reset at the beginning of the following day.

7.2 Hotspot Sharing

  • Unlimited plans allow sharing up to 500MB per day.
  • Limited plans allow sharing the entire data allocation.

7.3 Speed

RORO eSIM and SIM cards can support 3G/4G/5G telecom standards. The actual speed may depend on the local operator's network standards, coverage, and signal strength at the user's location.

8. Return and Refund Policy

8.1 eSIM Refunds

  • Full refunds are available for non-activated eSIMs and plans, provided the request is made before the plan’s expiration.
  • If there are network infrastructure issues that prevent the eSIM from functioning, a refund or compensation covering the value of the data wasted or lost will be granted.
  • Once the eSIM is activated and any portion of the data has been used, RORO reserves the right to deny refunds, regardless of the remaining data balance.
  • In case the eSIM fails to work properly, RORO may investigate the case and offer a full or partial refund or no refund, depending on the investigation results.

8.2 Physical SIM Card Refunds

  • Unused physical SIM cards can be returned within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, excluding shipping costs. The SIM card must be in its original packaging and unused condition.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • eSIMs and physical SIM cards purchased through our distributors and partners are not eligible for refunds directly from RORO.

8.3 Refund Process

  • To request a refund, please contact [email protected]. We may request additional information regarding the case and will process the refund after an investigation. Refunds will only be made to the original payment method used.

9. Use of RORO Apps

By downloading or using the RORO Apps from the Apple Store or Google Play Store, you agree to these Terms. The apps allow you to purchase data plans, monitor your usage, and manage your account.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

RORO is committed to protecting your privacy. We comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable laws. All personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy and Cookie Policy. Please refer to our Privacy and Cookie Policy for more details.

11. Liability and Disclaimers

RORO provides its services on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service and are not liable for any losses or damages arising from service disruptions or the inability to access the internet.

12. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, trademarks, and intellectual property displayed on Roroesim.com and within the RORO apps are the property of DDUP Business Service AB or its licensors. Unauthorized use of any materials may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not use, copy, reproduce, distribute, or modify any content from our website or apps without prior written consent from us.

13. Registering and Cancelling an Account

13.1 Registering an Account

  • To use certain features of our services, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your password.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.

13.2 Cancelling an Account

  • Upon cancellation, you will lose access to all history data plans, usage information, and any remaining balances associated with your account.

14. Force Majeure

RORO shall not be liable for any failure or delay in the performance of its obligations under these Terms if such delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, natural disasters, strikes, or governmental actions.

15. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swedish courts.

16. Changes to Terms and Conditions

RORO reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. We encourage customers to review this page regularly for any changes. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.
